Support Groups Program

Hepatitis C Global Initiatives is in the process of setting up support groups in the Vancouver area for both patients and caregivers.

The South Asian (Indian) and Asian communities are some of the hardest "hit" with this "blood to blood" pandemic that KILLS 12 times as many people as HIV/Aids. We are seeking volunteers of every race and language to:

1) HOST support groups in your area
2) SPEAK towards your church, temple, workplace or other organizations to educate others within your culture...in YOUR language.
We will train you and if interested, we will send you to speaking classes.

3) MANAGE trade shows/market tables, farmers markets, and all city venues.

We are also seeking volunteers in all other capacities including, but not limited to event planning, grant writing, legal, accounting, retail, and teaching. There are so many ways to contribute to such a great cause.

If you have a background in computers, and/or are knowledgeable about Hepatitis C or are someone who suffers from this disease, or has a loved one who does, we need you!

Help improve and save lives while growing your "portfolio!"

TOGETHER WE CAN DO GREAT THINGS!
